School For Visual Art

The School of Visual Arts provides a comprehensive visual art program that teaches the basic skills and techniques while emphasizing critical thinking skills. The diverse curriculum allows for students to receive the fundamentals of studio art as well as the challenge of advanced and individualized projects. Assignments in the School of Visual Arts range from traditional life drawing and painting, to sculpture, design and conceptual development, and are presented within and art historical context, while addressing issues important to contemporary artmakers.
